I have an orange Maine coon looking thing catch his
flowey tail on fire... twice. We all lived both time.
Minimal damage but a fluffy cat with 1/2 tail floof
missing is quite the sight |

Used to have a Norwegian forest cat who liked to sit on
the side of the bath while I was bathing. He'd get upset
at me being in the water, so his big floofy tail tail
would flick around in agitation.
Inevitably, that tail would eventually end up flicking
into the bath water and get soaked.
The outrage and sheer chaos that followed was a sight
to behold. He would literally climb wallpaper trying to
run away from his own tail. |

I had a house fire in July. I tried to get Fiona before
I got out but the smoke was starting to fill up and she
was hiding under a table I just couldn't get to. After
the firefighters put the fire out they found her hiding
under my bed and brought her out to me. We're oh okay
but she was absolutely freaked out. Firefighters rock
though.

Thanks! Thankfully it wasn't catastrophic but we're
living in a hotel for a few months til we can get back
in. She's been pretty good here considering all that has
happened. I bought her a crazy new tunnel and some new
toys and keep her entertained lol. |

Hard to tell honestly.
Cat is all bunched up because of how he is being held,
he's recoiling and tensed up because he's afraid and his
hair is obviously puffed up for similar reasons.
Honestly it looks like they dried him off with a towel
or cleaned him before they showed him, with how kind of
wet but puffy his hair looks. |

This is correct lol this is my cat in the photo yeah
he's a big boy but it's just his breed plus this photo
does not do him justice. Have to mention I was not told
this photo was taken/posted for days after the fire so
that's fun #freepromoiguess. Anyway most of these
comments suck he is happy healthy and overall I think we
should all just be happy he came out okay and is doing
