Not that enshrining it into law is bad, but it's not like the city didn't remember it, you can't walk three blocks in September around the city south of Midtown without seeing something about it, and Tribute in Light is visible from pretty much everywhere in city limits. |

To be clear the idea that there was state level funding for Al-Qaeda from Saudi Arabia for the 9/11 attacks or that Saudi Arabia intended the attacks to occur isn't nearly a concrete as it gets repeated online. The evidence is pretty clear that Al-Qaeda received plenty of donations from individuals from Saudi Arabia and other wealthy gulf countries. |
